(AOM) To play live within Second Life means to play in a spatial sound environment. As a listener to inworld performance you will hear the music according to where you place yourself, the performer close to you you hear better than you do the performer further away. This audience experience is essential to the performances of Avatar Orchestra Metaverse. Some of the AOM performances are mixed reality performance in the sense that AOM presents to a RL audience with screens or video projectors on the wall in parallell with us also having a virtual audience attending performance of us at the different SL rooms. To work with AOM group means to: * make rehearsals in Second Life together * create new interfaces * test interfaces together * discuss how to organise a scenography for a piece * communicate on AOM mail list about ideas and organisation of the performances * publish documentations about AOM in different networks

Lauren Weyland er virtuel stand up komiker, der kun optræder i Second Life.

Second Life teater In Shakespeare’s era, a group of thespians joined together to break grounds in creating revolutionary theatres and plays. Their work can be said to be the foundational basis for modern theatre. The SL Shakespeare Company exists to relive that spirit; by bringing to the metaverse the Bard’s plays—which were written and performed in an era of nascent theatre—we hope to break grounds in developing theatre in Second Life by creating a kind of theatre only possible in the metaverse.
